King George

George Bush is angry that it has been revealed that he is authorising America's external spy services to monitor Americans within the country. The spying appears to be directly authorised by him, without the usual court warrants. There are rules against this sort of thing apparently, but according to him the intelligence officials involved in the monitoring receive extensive training to make sure civil liberties are not violated. For a second there I was worried!

He didn't think it was a big deal when his staff revealed the identity of a CIA agent earlier this year, did he? Chill!

Listening to: For What It's Worth by Buffalo Springfield from Buffalo Springfield. (Often thought of as "Stop Children, What's That Sound?")
