The vision thing

George Bush's next Supreme Court nominee is Harriet Miers. A woman with absolutely no judicial experience... She is however a long-time and staunchly loyal employee of his. In fact she has acted as George's personal lawyer for much of his political career and can certainly be "counted on". That passes for qualification these days I guess. Still, there seems to be some support for her amongst the Democrats. Perhaps they view her as the least horrible alternative.
