They're Outta Here

I was doing some job hunting aimlessly browsing the web today when I saw an article describing how astronomers have recently detected a few stars that are leaving our galaxy. I had assumed that the galaxy's gravitational pull would have prevented such a thing, but it seems that these particular objects are traveling extremely fast, over a million miles per hour, probably because of some fluke massive gravitational slingshot. I have an alternate theory: Some smart aliens are moving to a better neighbourhood. After all the massive black hole at the centre of our galaxy is expected to swallow it all eventually (in trillions and trillions of years).
